Blood Drive: All Blood Types Needed

Did you know there’s no substitute for plasma? Plasma donations help burn victims, trauma patients, and others in critical need.

Plasma makes up 55% of your blood and is 92% water. It carries essential proteins, hormones, and nutrients throughout the body. Plasma helps blood clot, controls bleeding, and maintains blood pressure.

If you can donate, Versiti Blood Center of Dayton will host a blood drive from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at Reid Health - Connersville.

Sign up at DonorTime.com, on the Donor Time app, or call (937) 461-3220. Donors will receive a "Local Lifesaver" beverage tumbler from Versiti (while supplies last).
