Spinning in Strathearn

We’re getting ready for the Crieff Arts Festival where we are putting on a display of spinning. The main exhibit is The Cultoqhey spinning wheel which was used by Alexina Maxtone the wife of the 12th Laird of Cultoqhey and made by Crieff Furniture Maker James Clements in 1824 and is on loan from Su Grierson from Crieff.
We’ve also a selection of hand dyed wool by local dyer Patsy Fernie. Please come along and see this display as well as the display on the Highland Gathering.
