Overview
A scenic circular walk from Glen Artney Church car park up through the Strath a' Ghlinne into Gleann Ghoinean.
From Gleann Ghoinean we make a steep ascent up through Chiore Ghoinean onto Na Bealaich Chaiol, and then head for Beinn Dearg (Graham). It is planned to return via the ridge, which bounds the northern and western sides of Coire a' Choire, taking in Sron nam Broighleag and Sron na Maoile.
Descent is down the southeastern slope of Sron na Maoile to a deer gate. In the glens we follow estate tracks. The ascent, ridge walk and descent is pathless apart from some sheep/deer tracks. The terrain on the ascent and descents is steep and mainly on tussocky grass. There are a few areas of peat.
The walk may be switched to Saturday if the weather is poor on the Sunday.
