Tap into ancestral practices and remember the hands that came before us . Experience the full journey from animal to fiber, as we sit together on the land, reconnect with nature, and share a farm-grown meal.


In this gathering, we'll craft a culturally inclusive textile vocabulary that helps us uncover the magic of our origins. A wide variety of fiber activities will be on offer.


Come for skill sharing, conversation, and community care. Beginners and experts alike are welcome.

Knowledge is our collective inheritance.

The stations include:


- Crochet a Beanie

- Carding and Felting

- Spinning Practice

- Weave a Potholder

- Natural Dye Baths

- Shearing Demos



What to bring….

• A food dish or snack to share
• Plate and utensils
• Water bottle or cup
• Comfortable clothing
• Yarn or fiber (if you have)


And an openness to let the fiber call on your creativity
