Hello again my friends! I'm excited to lead another dance adventure!
I'm freshly returned from a canoe trip in the wilds and the theme "Wild Expression" came to me. I've been reflecting on my own behavioural modulation to fit into society, groups I frequent, and also uphold the image of myself I want the world to see. I've also been reflecting on the impacts that this modulation can sometimes have on my soul and my own unique expression. While I do believe some behavioural modulation is healthy in order to meet the current relational energy of the present moment is a good thing, I often also tend to modulate my behaviour and expression to maintain an image of myself or hide aspects of myself that have been judged in the past or that I'm afraid to have seen. This often leads to hurt and further hiding. My invitation to us all this week is to allow as much of our wild expression into the space as feels safe for each of us while maintaining respect for each other and the space. I invite you all to witness each other in your expressions and celebrate the diversity and beauty you see in each other. I welcome you as you are and offer this space for you to share your wild beautiful self.
The music will be on fire! All aboard for a proper shakedown, bring those dancing feet, we will be getting down!!!!!!!

::NEW DANCE TEMPLE FAMILY AGREEMENTS AND OPTIONS!::
Dance Temple welcomes families and children! To meet the diverse needs of our dancers and to honour this beautiful land and it’s stewards we have created special "family agreements":
OPTION 1 - Dancing with your Kids:
- Parents are responsible for children at all times (*unless the children join the children’s program, ages 6 to 12)
- Children must remain with their parents throughout the dance
- Trees and plants are to be respected and not damaged, i.e. no picking berries, breaking branches or climbing trees
- The general Dance Temple agreements apply to children as well
OPTION 2 - Supervised Kid's program:
*The Children’s program is offered by the team from WildCraftPlay. It is an immersive experience where children will have an opportunity to try their hand at swordplay, go on cooperative quests, create a character and find treasure.

This program will be from 10:30AM to 12:15PM for all children between the ages of 6 and 12.
Suggested donation of $5-10 to cover cost of providing childcare, and no one turned away for lack of funds

::DANCE TEMPLE AGREEMENTS::
In this space we collectively agree to:
*Develop compassion, awareness, acceptance
*No talking on the dance floor
*No cellphones
*No instruments
*No photography
*No drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicants.
*** No glass allowed on the farm, please leave all glass items at home ***
*Tops to be worn throughout the dance and around the property for all gender expressions, bikini top is the minimum coverage requested by the landowners, please be respectful of this boundary.
::ON BOUNDARIES & TOUCH::
We recognize that touch and physical proximity can mean different things to different people. In this space we practice self-awareness of our own bodies, and the ways in which we engage with the moving bodies of others. We define consent as freely given, enthusiastic agreement for mutual participation.
WHEN APPROACHING OTHERS:
*Make no assumptions!
Look for a yes, look for eye contact
*Respect any no (including when someone is ignoring you or moves away from you)
*Respect a Solo Dancer’s right to their space.
* Do not engage in physical touch without clear consent.
This is a transformational space for dance, healing, prayer, laughter, joy, sadness and everything in between.
