HEADLINER: Fresh from entertaining at Chicago's "Second City," Comedian LESLIE MITCHELL comes to Oborny's Husker Bar for a Special VALENTINE'S Show! Leslie won the “Funniest Person in Iowa” competition in July 2023 at the Lucky Cat Comedy Club in Cedar Rapids. Additionally, she took first place at the 21st Annual Stand Up Comedian Competition at the Jukebox Comedy Club in Peoria, IL, in the fall of 2022. Leslie has worked with well-known comedians such as Dave Attell, Roy Wood Jr., Bobcat Goldthwait and more. Her comedy material and story-telling approach allows her to connect with audiences on a personal level, making Leslie Mitchell's performances both entertaining and relatable.

OPENING: Winner of Best Comedian two years in a row by the Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards, HEATHER JONES is not your typical comic. A mother of 6, she is a regular at the Omaha Funny Bone Comedy Club, and has performed at banquets, festivals, and clubs across the country. She is a founding member of "Big Canvas," a non-profit improv group that performs and teaches with the mission "Comedy is for Everyone." She had the honor of being asked to perform a TEDx talk filmed at the University of Omaha, has been a regular guest on many radio programs, and was featured on Omaha's popular late-night sketch comedy TV show "Omaha Live."
