About the event

Severe Weather Spotter Training
Severe weather happens fast, and knowing what to look for can make a real difference. This Spotter Training is open to area fire departments, local spotter groups, and anyone in the general public who wants to learn more about storms and how to safely report what they see.

We’ll cover how to recognize severe weather, what information is actually helpful to report, and how spotter reports are used to issue warnings and support local response. Whether you’re part of an agency, a trained spotter, or just weather-curious, you’re welcome.

You don’t need any prior experience — just an interest in learning and staying safe when storms roll in. If you live in the area, this is practical info you can actually use.
