Restore Yoga and Reiki

This practice will use restorative yoga poses using bolsters and blankets paired with guided meditations. Restorative Yoga is the practice of stillness and peace in comfortable and supportive poses. Optional reiki session will be offered during the yoga practice.
This practice is welcome to all ability levels. New to yoga? Always been curious or not sure if it’s for you? Restorative yoga is the perfect place to start your journey.
Please dress comfortably and bring water. You may bring a journal or notebook if you would like.

What will this include?
*5-6 restorative poses using props (bolsters and blankets) to support the body and facilitate a calmer state within your nervous system.
*Guided Meditation
*Mini reiki for those that would like to receive.
*Relaxing tea and warm towel with lavender during the course of class.
Common Questions:
What is the difference between restorative and Yin? Restorative is about using mindfulness to calm your nervous system and relax your body. Yin is the practice to stretch and engage connective tissues in a more active movement.
What if I am not flexible or “bendy”?
Restorative yoga is the practice of stillness. This practice is accessible to all mobility ranges. Wear your favorite sweatpants or pajama pants. This practice will meet you where you are at in your physical and spiritual journey.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a hands on healing technique with origins from Japan. This promotes relaxation and peace.
