Open Mic Poetry & Prose

Hear and be heard. Enjoy poetry and readings from local artists, or present your own writing in a relaxed and nonjudgmental space. Local musician and singer-songwriter Jordan Bagwell will set the vibe with his guitar and live looper. All are welcome to participate or to come and enjoy the show.

Skye Nicholson is the author of two books and founder of Soul's Truth Coaching, dedicated to helping others embrace their authentic selves and unlock their full potential. She believes in the power of poetry to embolden individuals and strengthen communities through radical vulnerability

Jordan Bagwell, a singer-songwriter from Huntsville, Alabama, started as a drummer before mastering guitar and sound engineering. Now a solo looping artist, he blends rock, pop, country, and acoustic styles, channeling influences like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Alabama, and Jack Johnson.
