Cooking with the Kids- Crazy for stuffed meatballs

Grab the kiddos and share a fun, hands-on cooking class with the family!
Join food writer and chef-instructor Shawnie Kelley as she guides you through an interactive culinary adventure. In this family-friendly class, you'll learn to make mozzarella-stuffed meatballs simmered in scratch-made marinara, accompanied by parmesan breadsticks—perfect for dipping in that delicious red sauce.

For dessert, get ready to indulge in an ooey-gooey Cast Iron Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie-Brownie that’s sure to satisfy every sweet tooth at the table.

After the cooking fun, you’ll sit down and enjoy the meal you created together, complete with an included beverage.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Age Requirement: Children ages 5 and older are welcome. An adult must accompany each child.
👕 What to Bring: Feel free to bring a kid-sized apron and/or a small step stool if your child may need help reaching the work table. Adult-sized aprons are provided.
💇 Dress Code: Long hair must be pulled back. Wear long pants and flat, closed-toe shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, and high heels are not permitted in any Columbus State kitchens.

Nuts and other common food allergens are frequently used in our kitchens. If you or your child has a food allergy or dietary restriction, please inform us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs, but adjustments cannot be made during the class.

If you need to cancel your class booking, you may do so up to 48 hours before the class to receive a refund or class credit. If The Mix must cancel a class for any reason, you will be notified immediately by phone or email and offered the option to switch to another class of equal value or receive a full refund.

All class reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage early registration.
No refunds will be issued after a class has been held.
The Mix reserves the right to substitute instructors or modify class content when necessary.
