OMIGOD you guys! Workshop Theatre is presenting Legally Blonde The Musical May 9-24!
A fabulously fun award-winning musical based on the adored movie, Legally Blonde The Musical, follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. Action-packed and exploding with memorable songs and dynamic dances – this musical is so much fun it should be illegal!
Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down when her boyfriend Warner dumps her so he can attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle ingeniously charms her way into the prestigious law school. While there, she struggles with peers, professors and her ex. With the support of some new friends, though, Elle quickly realizes her potential and sets out to prove herself to the world.
The production team of director Sheldon Paschal, music director Kathy Seppamaki, and choreographer Stephanie Wilkins has assembled a talent-rich cast that is sure to have audiences laughing, tapping their toes, and wanting to sing along.
The show runs for three weekends – May 9-24 – and tickets are already available online at our.show/omigod. Tickets will be available by calling the Box Office at 803-799-6551 starting April 30, or by visiting the Box Office the day of the show. We recommend reserving your tickets early so you don’t miss out on this fun-filled show!
All performances will be at Cottingham Theatre on the campus of Columbia College (1301 Columbia College Drive). Ample parking is available on campus, but please abide by parking signs and park in appropriate spaces.
