One Read: Days of Heaven

After accidentally killing his supervisor, Chicago steelworker Bill (Richard Gere) flees to the Texas panhandle with his girlfriend Abbey (Brooke Adams) and little sister Linda (Linda Manz) where they find work in the wheat fields of a wealthy, ailing farmer (Sam Shepard). A romantic tragedy told from the perspective of a child, Terrence Malick’s second feature is renowned for its Oscar-winning, golden hour cinematography by Nestor Almendros as well as its evocative foregrounding of ephemeral imagery to explore the intricate relationship between humans and nature.

Please note that FREE tickets for the public will be available at the Ragtag Box Office starting Sunday, September 14 at 12PM.

No more than four free tickets will be given to one person.

A free ticket guarantees you a seat until 10 minutes before showtime and not after. If all tickets have been distributed and there are open seats at 10 till, we will start seating the theater from the waiting list (queue). Ticket holders will continue to be admitted at this time if seats are available. This policy allows us to start on time and give the audience a distraction-free experience.
