Join us for another amazing Juneteenth celebration at the Downtown Columbia Lakefront, a community tradition that honors culture and unity ❤️💛💚🖤.

• 🎈Kids' activities like face painting, balloon artist and glitter tattoos
• 💃🏽Line dancing with April “Dancing Diva” Williams and a performance by BFunk Dance Company
• 🍽Food and drinks available for purchase from Black-owned food trucks
• 📚 Visit from HCLS STEAM Machine

🎤🎵The night is capped off with a show by powerhouse vocalist Kyaira, produced by the Merriweather Arts and Culture Center (MACC).

ABOUT KYAIRA: Kyaira is a dynamic soul singer-songwriter based in the Greater Washington, DC area. Her artistry evokes comparisons to legends such as Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and Ari Lennox. Kyaira’s voice has been described as the warm hug you never knew you needed, effortlessly blending strength with vulnerability to captivate listeners. Her critically acclaimed full-length studio album Almost 30 won Best R&B Album at the 2024 Wammie Music Awards and amassed over 20,000 streams within its first year.
