Artful Harmonies: A Plein Air Celebration for the 25th Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival
Calling all artists! Celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival with a unique plein air experience at the beautiful St. Clement's Island Museum. Join us for "Artful Harmonies: A Plein Air Celebration" on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of the festival's setup.
Imagine capturing the serene beauty of the riverside museum grounds as they awaken in the morning, transforming throughout the day into a bustling hub of activity as the festival setup comes to life. From tranquil landscapes to the excitement of stage construction and vendor preparations, you'll have a dynamic and inspiring scene to capture. Your artwork will become a part of the festival's story, reflecting the unique atmosphere and energy of this milestone event.
That evening, enjoy the sounds of the U.S. Navy Band – The Commodores (6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) as you put the finishing touches on your masterpiece with the public present. Your art will then be showcased in the St. Clement's Island Museum gallery, where festival attendees will vote for their favorite piece during the main event on Saturday. The winning artist will receive a prize (details to be announced soon!).
Secure your spot and be a part of this special celebration! Artist site selection is first-come, first-served, starting at 5:30 a.m. The fee is just $10 per artist, with proceeds benefiting the museum.
