The Texas-based singer-songwriter Jarrod spent most of his early twenties in isolation, working hard shoeing horses. This rugged, introspective lifestyle laid the groundwork for him to write hundreds of songs—ultimately leading to the recording of his debut album, West of East.
With a strong focus on social media marketing, Jarrod’s singles and records quickly found success within the Texas country format, laying a powerful foundation for the next chapter in his musical journey.
Jarrod aims to capture the free, wild spirit of the American cowboy—offering smooth, memorable melodies and gritty vocals that span from sensitive, late-night contemplation to full-on summertime folk-rock revival energy.
His musical influences are broad and deeply rooted, ranging from Tom Petty and Kacey Musgraves to Ryan Bingham, Sting, John Mellencamp, and Ryan Adams. While this eclecticism sometimes defies easy genre placement, it's entirely intentional. Jarrod’s music is designed to connect with a wide and diverse audience.
