Anyone who wants to come is welcome to join me on a ride through High Park Road up to Florissant and then the same route in reverse to avoid all the Cripple Creek/Woodland Park traffic from the vet rally. Lunch at the World's End Brewing Company, 401 Main St, Cañon City, CO 81212, so Pueblo riders can join if they'd like. Spirited pace. For Colorado Springs Riders, this is a 200-mile round trip.
If you are a Pueblo-area rider, you can join at the gas stop in Florence, please be there by 9:45am waiting for the group (we leave from Colorado Springs at 9am).
The Route is: Co Springs > 115 to Florence gas stop > 50 > 9 > High Park Road > Teller County Rd up to Florissant gas stop > reverse the route back to lunch in Florence > fuel up and part ways.

1. Meetup, fuel up at 8:30am, KSU 9:00am at Circle K, 1225 Academy Park Loop, Colorado Springs, CO 80910 (right across the street from the US Post Office).
2. Gas/refreshment stop at Loaf N Jug, 506 E Main St, Florence, CO 81226 (Pueblo riders can join here, please be there no later than 10am)
3. Gas/refreshment stop at Conoco, 2636 US-24, Florissant, CO 80816
4. Lunch at World's End Brewing Company, 401 Main St, Cañon City, CO 81212
Guidelines for Safety:
1. Ride your own ride, don't chase the rabbit. You are responsible for your own safety. If you are feeling nervous at any point, that's a good sign to slow down.
2. Ride staggered in straights and when passing vehicles, ride single file in the twisties. Don't put yourself in bad situations trying to pass vehicles, make sure you have good vision of oncoming traffic. Don’t overtake on blind corners, basic stuff here.
3. Give people a space cushion to maneuver, don't ride anyone's ass or you will cause an accident.
4. Treat riders like they are full sized vehicles, they can't see you and they're unpredictable. Do not pass a rider in the same lane as them, use a passing lane or the opposing traffic lane (if someone is going too slow for your taste).
5. Please don't showboat, it's not that kind of ride. Or at the least, do it far away from other riders so you don't take someone out if you fuck up.
