David Jeffrey is a mandolinist and singer‑songwriter who co‑founded Colorado Springs’ progressive bluegrass outfit Grass It Up, blending soulful Americana, lively mandolin chops, and bluesy flair in both duo and full‑band settings . Shannon T. Carr (also known as Shannon Carr or Shannon Tyler Carr) is a guitarist and claw‑hammer banjo player with jazz and church‑music roots, whose rhythmic banjo rolls and guitar drive enrich the band’s blend of traditional and contemporary bluegrass.
