Beginner Mounted Archery Clinic

Eternal Flame Mounted Archery is hosting 2 1-day Mounted Archery Intro clinics at Laurelin Farm to introduce riders to the sport. All levels of riding are accommodated.
Time 9:00 am to 4 pm. Bring a lunch.

Learn: Techniques of loading and nocking while moving, blind nocking, practice ground shooting at competition course targets, how to develop a floating seat in the saddle, how to introduce your horse to shooting off them, mounted archery competition structure, and how to ride the lane at various speeds. We will end with a simple arena 30 course to give participants a chance to get the feel of how a competition works!
Cost is $150 per person. This includes use of equipment if you do not have your bow or arrows yet. We use traditional horse bows with no arrow shelf. Limited to 8 people per clinic. This clinic is suitable for ages 12 and up. A limited number of horses are available if you are unable to bring your own. Horse rental fee is $40 and payable to the horse's owner. Limited overnight camping available.
2025 Mounted Archery Association of Americas Membership or Weekend membership will be required.
