If you’re looking to get into archery or just interested in having a go then please feel free to contact us. Archery is a fantastic sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities, which is something we try to promote here at Bower Park and Maryport archers.
We offer a six-hour course (three sessions of two hours) where you will receive coaching on how to shoot and all aspects of shooting safety.
The course costs £45 which covers rental of club equipment and tuition-the only thing you need to bring is yourself!
At the moment over 12 only and under 18 must be accompanied by parents.
After this this period you can join the club and become a full member where you can continue to use the club equipment for free until you are ready to purchase your own. Due to large numbers of recent applicants, we are starting to run the sessions periodically and will ask those interested to wait until the next course starts so that all beginners progress together.
