About the event

Pasta & Postcards: Fredrik Backman Book Event
A creative night featuring 'My Friends' by Fredrik Backman— make postcards, & soak up artful vibes with fellow book lovers & enjoy lasagna

Join us on June 17th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm for an evening celebrating Fredrik Backman’s newest release, My Friends . (limited signed copies available at Found!)
Hosted collaboratively by neighbours Route 22 Art Gallery and Found Books & Shop , this cozy, creative night includes a lasagna dinner from The Boot , a postcard-making station led by local artist Michelle Wiebe , and the chance to connect with fellow readers about the impact of this heartfelt story.
Wander freely between the shop and gallery through a secret passageway, and—if you're feeling bold—get a mini book-themed flash tattoo from a curated selection of designs by Gratitude Tattoos (not included in regular ticket price, limited spots available & recommended to pre-book as an add-on).
Sponsored in part by Simon & Schuster , this is a night for art, stories, and celebrating our gloriously messy humanity—together.

About Route 22 Art Gallery Collective :
The Collective has established an elevated, multi-discipline visual arts gallery–operated by its dedicated members of the Route 22 Artist Collective Ltd. Behind the gallery display space is an Arts Makerspace intended to provide arts programming for all ages. The Route 22 Artist Collective Ltd. Gallery is located at Unit 18, 312 5th Ave (Grand Central Town Square Mall) in Cochrane.
The arts play a huge role in building healthy communities and maintaining mental wellness. The Covid-19 crisis has brought this to the forefront and further illuminated the importance of art in helping people cope in the current difficult times. The arts connect, nourish and sustain us on a fundamental human level.
Now more than ever, it is important to support the growth and health of our local arts scene. We could not be more proud of our grassroots Collective and the Route 22 Artist Collective Ltd. Gallery. We sincerely hope you will join us on our journey.
As part of our new re-opening, we are seeking supporters of all kinds to join in making this venture a successful and sustainable reality for Cochrane .
