Our inaugural Block Party celebrates Melbourne Art Library's new home in Coburg, the heart of Merri-bek City Council. We'll be joined by a host of our creative friends and neighbours, each presenting projects and activations that reflect the diverse practices shaping our local creative community.
Free drop-in workshops will run throughout the afternoon from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Come make a zine with the team from Troppo Print Studio, or try your hand at creating a self-portrait masterpiece in a workshop with Frances Cannon of Pink Ember Studio.
As the evening unfolds, tunes will spin and drinks will flow thanks to our friends at Konpira Maru and 3 Ravens Brewery.
It's free, it's all ages, and it's for everyone. We can't wait to welcome you to our new home.
This event is proudly supported by a Community Participation Grant from Merri-bek City Council.
Accessibility
Melbourne Art Library is a wheelchair-accessible venue, with one accessible bathroom. More accessible bathrooms are located next door at Schoolhouse Studios, which is also a wheel-chair accessible venue.
There are 3 x wheelchair accessible parking spaces for visitors located at the rear of the Schoolhouse Studios building, at the north end of the car park.
