Welcome to the North Side Auslan-ers!!
We are a new friendly and small Auslan practice and social picnic group.
We are a mix of all skill levels and experience, beginners, students, d/Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing.

Due to Melbourne's unpredictable weather, meeting location will be confirmed no later than the morning of.

Times are not strict, feel free to come and go as you please, just pop in for 5 mins, or even stay late if you're having fun.
We always aim for Voices Off, to foster a truly inclusive Deaf space. Feel free to bring pen & paper, or refer to your fave Auslan apps.
We're all at different levels, experience and always learning!!
Please keep in mind, that these are not classes, and these social settings may not be appropriate to those who have not yet begun their Auslan Journey at all.
Feel free to bring camping chairs & picnic blankets.

* Dogs are encouraged, if they are chill and human/snack safe. Keeping in mind some people maybe nervous around dogs
** Snacks to share are welcome, but definitely not compulsory or even expected.
If you're unable to bring snacks, you're still very welcome to share the afternoon and available snacks with us.
** On Library Days, snacks are still allowed, we checked.
