Maiastra May 2025 - Piano Quartets with Akiko Ono

Maiastra welcome international prize-winner, violinist Akiko Ono who will direct a concert of piano quartets at St Andrew's Church, Cobham. Akiko will be joined by young, talented musicians who intend to make chamber music a major part of their future careers.

St Andrews Church was the first settlement in Cobham recorded in the Domesday Book. It dates back to the mid 12th century and despite heavy restoration in the 19th century as well as modernisations and additions, parts of the original building still survive as do many features and artefacts from each period since.
