Join us on Saturday, July 12th at 1pm at Koselig Nook for our Kokedama Workshop!
Houseplant enthusiast and Wedgewood Retail Assistant Manager Justin Dampman will lead an engaging hands-on workshop where you will learn the technique and make your own! In this centuries-old Japanese form of garden art closely tied to the practice of bonsai, kokedama is where a plant's roots are wrapped in moss and bound with string, creating a stunning, living sculpture.
For this workshop, we’ve partnered with Koselig Nook, an exquisite after-dark teahouse nestled in Chester County, PA. It serves as a haven where individuals can connect with others, find moments of solitude, and embrace the essence of "Koselig" a Norwegian concept that embodies warmth, contentment, and coziness in a shared atmosphere.
We’ll have all the parts you need - the beautiful plants, the nutrient-rich moss, and the knowledgeable team to guide you - all you need to bring are your hands! Whether you're a seasoned plant geek or just looking to try something new, this workshop is perfect for plant lovers of all skill levels.
Your $52 ticket includes one 4-inch plant, all necessary materials, printed care instructions and guidance by Justin, Wedgewood’s Kokedama expert. In addition, you’ll receive unlimited tea until 3pm! Pre-registration is required, and payment is due online at the time of registration. Sign up here:
