Thursday - almost the end of the week, we set the mood early on the terrace with Wax on Fridays spinning a vinyl-only warm-up, before we move inside after, where Alex HG and random brandon will take over the dance floor with their signature sounds. Wax on Fridays: His moniker was born ten years ago - not for the glitter, not to tick boxes - but to showcase those tracks that caught his attention. Digging isn’t some flex. It’s work. He goes through piles of music just to find that little something-something. Music that sticks. No trends, no gimmicks. Started out digging soul, funk, and disco, he took the long route into the depths of 12"ers. A few years of traveling, catching nights in dark clubs and bright rooftops, and house music started leaving its mark - a genre which, according to him, sits very well in real life.
