They are determined to escape spinsterhood by hopping the next spaceship out of town, and they're not going to let the arrival of a snake charmer and a mysterious bird woman stand in their way. This is the night they will make contact! In a wonderfully weird and wacky world that combines Tennessee Williams with Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Sugar Bean Sisters is an offbeat story of romance, murder and alien abduction.
