While diet, nutrition, and exercise can negatively affect cognitive activity and social interactions, there are steps people can take to build a plan for healthy living. In this discussion, you will hear about tools you can use for a healthy brain and body.

"Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia"
Alzheimer’s disease isn’t a normal part of aging. There are risk factors, stages of the disease, and differences between Alzheimer’s and other dementia. In this session, you’ll learn about research, new treatments,s and support that is available through the Alzheimer’s Association.

"Dementia Conversations"
Observing changing behaviors in a loved one you fear may have dementia is difficult. In this program, you’ll learn some ways to gently raise topics like seeing a doctor for a diagnosis, medical treatments, deciding when it’s time to stop driving, and planning for future care with legal and financial considerations in mind.
