Our first event of the year is now LIVE
This Easter we’re EGGstatic to be giving you all things EGGS and this year it’s DOUBLE TROUBLE with two dates over the Easter weekend
Meet us by the play park to collect your trail map. Clues will direct you around the castle grounds to find eggs and other Easter related props! Return your completed trail sheet and we’ll exchange it for…a yummy ice cream token!
Whilst on the trail, look out for the special Golden Eggs! If you find one, bring it back to the start and we’ll exchange it for an EGGstra prize.
As always, we’ll have our Easter bonnet competition in full swing. Bring your bonnets to the entrance point, we’ll take a snap of you in yours and a winner will be chosen on Monday 6th March
EGG ROLLING!
Although traditionally done on the Sunday, we’re bringing egg rolling to the castle on both days! Boil and decorate an egg at home. Bring it along with you and meet us to the hill behind the play park. Roll it down the hill and the winner will be the person whose egg makes it the furthest without braking.
Egg rolling will take place twice on Sat and once on Sunday. Please note the times:
Saturday: 12pm and 2pm
Sunday: 1pm
Important info:
-Please BRING A PEN
-£5 per child
-Last entry is (Sat) 3.30pm and (Sun) 2.30pm
-The trail will take approx 30 mins to complete
-No pre-booking required. Just show up on the day anytime between 10-3.30pm (Sat) or 11-2.30pm (Sun) If you are on Facebook, please tick the ‘going’ box to give us an idea of numbers :)
-If your child has any special dietary needs, please contact us before the event so we can provide an alternative prize
-Pram and wheelchair friendly
-Dogs are permitted (on a lead)
