Jeff Miller Memorial Softball Game: Clinton Fire VS. Clinton Police Rematch

Come join us at the Cancer Walk for the third Jeff Miller Memorial Softball Game! A rematch of Clinton Fire Dept VS. Clinton Police Dept (as well as some members from our neighboring towns) at the Ethel Peters Sports Complex in town. Bring the family and grab some dinner from the concession stand as you watch the CFD take on CPD. Who will you be rooting for? The series is all tied up 1-1! The event is free, however donations are encouraged and greatly appreciated as all donations will go to helping members of our own community battling cancer.

Who was Jeff Miller?
Jeff was a long time member of the Clinton Fire Department. He joined at the age of 15 as a junior member and worked his way up through the ranks to become the Assistant Chief, as well as the Assistant Fire Marshall. Jeff was also one of the smiling faces behind Hugh Allen Appliance on Main Street. Jeff was recognized by the department numerous times for his dedication and bravery. He devoted his life to helping others, never hesitating to lend a helping hand, but also cracked a joke or two. In his spare time, Jeff enjoyed playing softball on the local team and looked forward to his game nights. Jeff, unfortunately, was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer at the age of 39. Just six months later after his diagnosis, he passed away after a courageous battle leaving behind his wife, Debbie and two daughters, Taylor and MacKenzie, as well as his fire department family.

Bring your family and friends, grab some food, enjoy the game and check out the Cancer Walk. (All proceeds raised from the Cancer Walk go directly towards helping local families pay their bills while battling cancer.)
