Heidi Proffetty - Making Mosaic Art Quilts

Heidi Proffetty will be joining us at our last meeting of the season presenting: "Making Mosaic Art Quilts".

Heidi is an award-winning quilter and teacher known for her unique mosaic art quilts. In 2022, she won 1st place at AQS QuiltWeek in Paducah, KY for Azul Medallions, her geometric mosaic quilt. She has earned several other awards for her pictorial quilts, with work featured in traveling exhibits and galleries. Heidi has appeared on The Quilt Show and Quilting Arts TV, and regularly contributes to Janome’s Maker/Artisan program with free quilting and sewing projects.

She continues to create mosaic quilts, exhibit nationally, and teach workshops on mosaic quilting and decorative stitch art.

Heidi lives in Massachusetts with her husband and two teenage daughters. When not quilting, she enjoys flying, baking, beekeeping, and relaxing at the beach.
