“ADVENTURES WITH PAPERS” - with Lois McMullan

“ADVENTURES WITH PAPERS” is up in the Gallery now, and will be display through Friday, September 12th. It can be fun just to walk through, and see the materials Lois McMullan has used and how each piece is assembled. Lois cheerfully admits to being hooked on color, texture, papers of all sorts and the art making process itself. “I do art work to satisfy myself. It can be technically meticulous – all those bits and bobs of paper, seed pods, whatever catches my eye – but it keeps me out of trouble,” Lois laughs. Most of the pieces in this show are linked to at least one of her passions – nature, different papers, and a very fertile imagination. Come see how viewing this work takes on additional interest upon closer examination. The exhibit is free, and the Gallery hours are: Monday – Saturday 10 am – 4:30 pm & Sundays 1 pm – 4 pm.
