Wildflowers of the Machair -Guided Walk

Led by Aedín Ní Thiarnaigh, TV presenter, Folklorist, and founder of Bláthanna Fiáine Wildflower Walks. Supported by LIFE on Machair.

Join us on a wildflower walk to explore the plants of the machair. We’ll look at what makes this rare and delicate habitat so special, and share the names (Irish and English), stories and traditional uses of some of the many flowers and herbs found there.

Places are limited on this event, so please book early, and please don’t hold a place if you can’t come along on the day.

Please wear waterproof footwear, and appropriate outdoor clothing for the weather on the day. The walk is suitable for moderate fitness levels, but the terrain will be uneven underfoot.
