Take a Hike: Playhouse Square

Opened in the 1920s and saved from demolition in the 1970s, Playhouse Square began its revival in the 1980s. With 11 performance spaces, it’s the largest performing arts center in the U.S. outside New York and the heart of a thriving mixed-use neighborhood in downtown Cleveland.
