The Pan Ohio Hope Ride is hosting an in-person Volunteer Training Summit at the American Cancer Society Cleveland Office on Saturday, June 14, covering a range of topics and providing you with everything you need to have a successful POHR volunteer experience.
Weโll kick off the Summit with a casual lunch, with snacks and beverages available throughout the afternoon.
The Summit will include fun and engaging activities, discussions, and a Q&A session. Weโll walk attendees through setting up various volunteer stations โ including water stops, check-in tables, recovery stations, and hospitality tables. These hands-on demonstrations will be recorded and published for those who cannot attend in person.
A volunteer social event follows the Training Summit. We will set up dinner and enjoy a meal together at the Cleveland Hope Lodge, which is less than 10 minutes from the Cleveland Office. Volunteers are invited to take a tour of the facility.

You donโt have to be signed up as a volunteer to attend the Summit, if youโre looking to learn more before deciding. That said, registering early is always appreciated and ensures shift volunteers get their preferred location(s)!
