Creative Meetups CLE

Creative Meetups, is dedicated to connecting the creative community in Northeast Ohio. Our goal is to curate space designated for creators of all sorts (artists, poets, entrepreneurs, innovators). An environment where creativity can ignite with brilliant minds. Pull up to our co-creation oasis to share what you’re working on, connect with like minded creators, and express yourself.

Join us for an evening of creativity, community, and inspiration at the Pivot Center’s exclusive open house—featuring studio tours, live music, immersive art, engaging speakers, and a hands-on workshop spotlighting the Spark Grant opportunity hosted by FIG.

• Live Welcome Music: Enjoy Mark Dawson, FIG’s Creative Incubator Studio resident artist, at the piano in the lobby as you arrive.
• Community Arts Center Tour: Step inside the CMA Community Arts Center to explore current art displays and free, hands-on activities crafted just for our meetup guests.
• FIG Studio Walk-Through: Meet FIG teaching artists and staff in the makerspace—watch live silkscreen demos, learn about upcoming print projects, and get a sneak peek at our artistic process (sponsorship opportunities available for a custom event poster!).
• Djapo Performance Preview: Peek behind the scenes of Djapo’s rehearsal space—immerse yourself in the rhythms and movements that uplift Cleveland’s Black communities.

New Spark Grant:

Each event attendees will have access to meet other creatives and collaborate on a community project and apply for funding up to $1,000 through our New Spark Grant in partnership with our Community Sponsors Neighbor Up and Cuyahoga Art & Culture
