**Armageddon Rules**
## **Army Building**
* **3000 points per player per side.**
* Points may be shared between team members if both players agree **before the battle begins**.
* **Legends and 3D prints are allowed.**
* 3D printed models must have **at least a primer coat**. This is the **only** type of model that requires any paint
* Bare GW grey plastic is acceptable.
* **Unit limits are doubled:**
* Up to **12 Battleline** units.
* Up to **6 of everything else** (per list).
* **Named Characters:**
* No duplicate named characters in the **same list**.
* Multiple copies are allowed **across different players**.
* **Allied Unit Restrictions are waived:**
* You can bring any units without needing to satisfy Battleline requirements. And there are no limits applied to what allies you can bring.
* **Command Point Generation:**
* Not limited to 1 CP per turn. See **Command Points** below for more details.
## **Turns & Activation**
* **Activation Sequence:**
* After rolling off, each side alternates choosing one unit to activate.
* That unit goes through **all phases**:
**Command → Move → Psychic (if applicable) → Shoot → Charge → Fight → End.**
* **Army-wide Command Abilities:**
* Armies like **Imperial Guard, Tau**, etc., with broad command abilities may activate them **on the first unit's activation**.
* **Activation Tracking:**
* After a unit activates, place a token to mark it as done for the turn.
* **Overwatch:**
* Can be used **once per player per turn**, not once per team.
* **Command Points:**
* No cap on CP generation.
* Once per player per turn (not per activation), **after any unit’s activation**, you may roll 1d6:
* On a **4+**, gain **1 extra CP** (represents discarding a secondary objective).
* **Strategic Markers:**
* Used for abilities that require proximity to objectives or terrain.
* **“Once per phase” abilities:**
* Treated as **“once per turn”** for simplicity.
* **Combat & Charges:**
* If an **activated unit charges** an unactivated unit:
* The fight resolves as normal.
* When the unactivated unit activates later:
* It may **shoot into combat** (if rules permit).
* In the Fight phase, it counts as an **ongoing combat**, and the **defender fights first**.
* **Heroic Intervention:**
* Units that perform Heroic Intervention **do not count as activated**.
* **Strategic Reserves & Deep Strike:**
* Entering the battlefield this way **counts as that unit's activation**.
* You may only bring on **one unit at a time** using these methods.
* **Line of Sight (LoS):**
* **True Line of Sight** applies to any part of the model **above its base or hull**.
* You may see through terrain with large holes.
* You **cannot** shoot a visible wing, arm, etc., unless you can also see **the model’s base**.
## **Scoring**
* **Points are earned by destroying enemy units.**
* Earn the **full point value** of the destroyed unit.
* Units that **respawn or return** can be killed again for **additional points**.
