Cider Apple Harvesting

Cider apple harvest, Sunday 28th September 2-4pm

Please help us to harvest the cider apples in the Community Orchard, it looks like they are ready early this year so we’d like some help on Sunday 28th September between 2 and 4 pm to pick them up and bag them up ready for collection to go off to make cider.

Please just turn up and join us for whatever time you can spare. It's great fun for children.

There’ll be apple juice and cake to help fortify you. The orchard was planted in 2000 and has a large variety of heritage cider apple varieties.

The orchard is in Brookfield Walk (BS21 6YG) behind Baytree School. There is a footpath to it just to the right of the school gates.
