In Episode 6 of 𝗤𝗨𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗬 (𝗕𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝘅 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱) Season 5 features 𝗕𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝗴, one of Singapore's most sought-after and internationally award-winning youth musicians. A versatile performer fluent in Dizi, Saxophone, Flute, and Bansuri, he is also the Founding Director of The Jazzlings, Singapore’s largest youth jazz collective. Joining him is 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼, an internationally acclaimed choreographer and dance artist. A graduate of the Professional Conservatoire of Dance of Barcelona, Institut del Teatre (2010), Daniel’s works resonate with physicality and intensity, drawing audiences into a visceral world where movement becomes a powerful language of human experience.

Exploring the intersectionalities and possibilities of the sonic and physical realms, the performance project aims to promulgate the concepts of improvisation, exploration, experimentation and collision.

Artists are challenged to meet on the afternoon of performance day at 5pm to discuss their strategies (if any) for the evening's improvisation performance at 8pm. The spontaneity of each unique sharing thus underscores its own ephemerality, for makers and viewers.
