We’re putting together our first No Reservations PNW Dispersed Camping Community Cleanup at French Cabin Creek outside Cle Elum, Washington, on Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29, 2025. Come for the free campsites and fresh air, stay to give the place a quick shine-up, meet a few like-minded campers, and maybe head home with some new gear.
WEEKEND OUTLINE
-Saturday morning: roll in, pick a spot, grab a raffle ticket at check-in
-Saturday afternoon: wander the creek, fish, nap in a hammock—your call
-Saturday evening: casual meet-and-greet and camp-gear show-and-tell, followed by the campfire raffle (must be present to claim a prize)
-Sunday sunrise: slow coffee circle
-Sunday mid-morning: quick last-call trash check—please take whatever load you feel like hauling out
-Early afternoon: pack up, trade high-fives, and head home knowing French Cabin Creek looks better than when we arrived
WHAT TO BRING
-Your usual dispersed-camp setup (tent, sleeping bag, food, water)
-Work gloves and a couple of heavy-duty trash bags
-A favorite piece of gear for show-and-tell (optional, but fun!)
-Well-mannered dogs welcome; leash or voice-control them around camp
HOW YOU CAN HELP NOW
-RSVP on the event page so we have a rough headcount. We will have to cap the event at 25 vehicles; the sooner, the better.
-Share this open invite to any friends or family.
-Drop a comment or DM us to add a raffle item to the mix.
Let’s show the Pacific Northwest that dispersed campers are the best caretakers of campsites. See you under the pines. Stay Wild!
