About the event

Pepito & The Trash Cans
The Clayton Center presents Pepito & The Trash Cans, a free, family-friendly, musical story for children ages 5-11 on Saturday, July 19, at 2:00pm.

Musical storyteller Luke Vandergriff Art plays his homemade instruments and teaches children Spanish vocabulary through the context of the story of Pepito, a Bolivian boy who dreams of making music. Despite hardship, Pepito realizes his dream by crafting his own instruments from bottles, cans and other recycled materials.

Pepito & The Trash Cans is a delightful show that inspires creativity, social-emotional learning, resilience, environmental stewardship and an appreciation for cultural diversity.
