"Out of the Woods" presentation with Author Gregg Olsen and Survivor Shasta Groene

Join us for an evening at the Asotin County Fire District with bestselling true crime author Gregg Olsen and survivor Shasta Groene as they discuss Shasta's story in Olsen's gripping new book, "Out of the Woods: A Girl, a Killer, and a Lifelong Struggle to Find the Way Home" (available August 1).

For twenty years, Shasta Groene, the victim of a serial rapist and murderer, has allowed others to shape her narrative—therapists, the media, even her family. She stayed silent as people whispered and snickered, some in awe, others in horror, and labeled her “that girl.” Now, she’s no longer quiet and is proudly claiming the moniker survivor.

Books available August 1. Pre-order from ...And Books Too. Copies will be available for purchase at both the store and this event. A book signing will follow the presentation.
