TRANSPONDERS: Sharing of transponders will not be available.
RUBBISH: All rubbish is to be taken with you. Please respect our properties.
FOOD: Allys Hot Shots and Big Henrys.
ALCOHOL: Consumption during MERC events is prohibited. Once the event is completed alcohol may be consumed.
SIGHT LAP: As nippers are non-competitive, they will not complete a sight lap.
JUMP START: We will not be restarting the race for jump starting, the Clerk of Course will penalise the jump starter if this is deemed to be an advantage on the day.
FLAGGYS: All rostered Flaggys, including substitutes, will be required to present to the MERC tent to be signed on PRIOR to the riders briefing. Those riders who have a flaggy on the roster that has not presented at sign on will not be able to race until they are present. If choosing to NOT supply a flaggy, you MUST pay the flaggy fee when entering. Otherwise, you may be put on the roster and WILL NEED TO FIND SOMEONE TO FLAG FOR YOU.
PRESENTATIONS: Will be held after racing has finished for the day.
LICENSE: You must hold an MA licence (yearly national licence or one event competition licence) and be an annual member of MERC to race at our events.
MA yearly national licence and MERC membership lasts 12 months.
MA provides MERC and riders with insurance for our events.
TRANSPONDER HIRE: You can race without a transponder, but you won't be timed, receive a placing on the day, or be eligible for championship points. Transponders can be added when registering for the event for $25.
