Breastfeeding Foundations

Breastfeeding Foundations helps prepare expectant parents for breastfeeding. The class is designed to provide all information essential to breastfeeding. During this class, attendees will learn the best ways to prepare for a successful start to breastfeeding, how to position and latch your baby for a comfortable breastfeeding experience, how your baby will communicate when it is time to nurse, common obstacles that can arise during breastfeeding, and more. Bringing your spouse or partner to class is encouraged. This class is taught by a certified lactation education counselor (CLEC) and is recommended to be taken between the 32nd and 37th week of pregnancy.
