Christchurch Creatives Mixer #1

It's no secret that there's a whole pile of artistic talent here in our fair city of Ōtautahi Christchurch, however we noticed there wasn't a lot of cross pollination between the different scenes and so the idea for the CCN Mixer was born!

We're hoping to bring together a whole pile of talented and diverse people from all the different art forms to forge friendships and maybe even working relationships together. The long-term plan is to curate a group of creatives and also a monthly newsletter where artists can promote things like album releases, concerts, exhibitions, performances, etc.

Taylor Ruddle is a local stand up comic who will be running the event, you don't need to bring anything except business cards if you wish as well as an open mind and good vibes. Taylor will facilitate the mixing which will function a bit like speed dating with a rotation system so you'll get a chance to say hello to everyone and talk about your respective projects. There'll be a bit of free time at the end for general socialising too. Food and drinks will be available to purchase.
