Addington's Major Works '25 Concert

The Addington Brass Band, under the direction of Adrian Dalton, and the Addington Workshop Band, led by Matthew Harris, will present a "Major Works" concert on June 22nd at 2:00 PM in the Transitional Cathedral, Christchurch. This spectacular event is free to all, but a donation at the door is greatly appreciated.

This special event will feature the repertoire the bands are preparing for the upcoming New Zealand Brass Band Championships in July. Each ensemble will perform a demanding test piece, a compelling own-choice selection that highlights their musical strengths, along with stirring hymn arrangements and lively marches.

Addington Brass will compete in the B Grade section at the national contest, while the Addington Workshop Band will take part in the D Grade section.
