The solar system is primarily made up of the sun, the eight planets and their moons, the asteroid belt, and orbiting comets.
Under the heavy scrutiny of telescopes, planets -- once mere wandering points of light against the background of stars -- reveal discernible features on their surfaces, making their size and distinctiveness apparent compare to stars.
Come on down to learn just large these "wandering stars" (planets) are relative to the various members of our solar system with your hands!
