VE Day 80

On Thursday 8 May 2025, it will be 80 years since the end of War in Europe.

To mark this historic anniversary of 80 years of peace, and to commemorate those who paid the ultimate sacrifice to achieve it, Chippenham Town Council will hold a flag raising ceremony at 9am at the Town Hall steps.

If you wish to join us, please arrive by 8.55am to allow a prompt start.
