Feel Better with a Book

Join our ‘Reading Friends’ Shared Reading group and enjoy a good story or discover poetry without the need to read ahead.
The group has a Leader who brings a short story or book extract, plus a poem or two, which everyone takes turn to read aloud if they wish to – although just listening is fine too.
The value of this session lies in the memories, comments and discussion that are stimulated and it’s a good way to meet new people.
Reading can boost our wellbeing – so feel better with a book!
All are welcome and there's no charge.
