YOGA IN THE CHILLIWACK LITTLE MOUNTAIN PARK HOW COOL IS THAT!
You won't want to miss the Yoga in the Park event scheduled for Sunday, August 24th running from 1:00 to 3:00!
This event will be held at the Little Mountain Park “ the Cemetery Park” located at 10071 Hillcrest Drive only 5 to 10 minutes away from Downtown Chilliwack.
This is a free community event
Leading the Yoga Class will be none other than Lisa Axelson, a very skilled, well recognized and highly respected yoga instructor.
People of all ages and abilities will be most welcome, including those folks wishing to be part of the event in a non-physical way who can relax and enjoy a nature based connection in this beautiful well-maintained park .
Complementary bottled water and Push Pops ( Mango and Watermelon) for purchase will be available at the site.
Also, as an added attraction, there will be basic art supplies made available at the “Kids' Table” for budding artists wishing to exercise their creative talents.
For personal comfort you are encouraged to bring along a yoga mat or blanket if you plan to participate in the Yoga event itself.
Lisa Axelson has volunteered her time to offer her expertise and leadership to guide this class. It will be an Introductory Class with no previous yoga experience required. People of all ages are welcome to participate.
Sure hope to see you here whether to actively participate or to just to sit back, enjoy some basic refreshments and absorb the nature-based connection of this park to the beautiful surrounding area of Little Mountain.
