Handbuilding 1: Intro

Begin your pottery journey using simple tools and your own two hands. If you’ve ever wanted to try working with clay, handbuilding is the ideal place to start! Learn the basics of making pottery – from wedging your first lump of clay to dipping the final piece in glaze. Pinch pots, coil building, and slab building techniques will be introduced and integrated to create pieces that can be used in the home or given as gifts.
